    Module one covers features of handwriting. Many areas of forensic document analysis include determining the authorship of a document, historical dating, typewriting analysis, analysing documents to identify criminal intent, paper and ink analysis to determine date and types of paper, ink, water-marks, copy machines, printer cartridges etc., determining forgeries, i.e. alterations, erasures and other changes, forensic stylistics where the examiner assess linguistic style, grammar and word choices to determine authorship, and finally, computer crime investigation. Please note that this course focuses on the analysis of handwriting only.

    The module in Principles, Techniques and Methodologies covers forensic handwriting techniques, and methods practiced to establish authenticity of handwriting on documents, but focuses on handwriting and includes line quality, education, neurological and mental disorders, substance abuse and other external factors affecting the handwriting and provides an introduction to basic handwriting comparison techniques, techniques for comparison of disputed writing with genuine writing, types of handwriting forgery.

    Module three focuses on the preparation of documents for expert testimony. This module provides students with practical application of report writing, presentations and testimony

    Statement analysis detects deception and obtains information from statements made in a variety of contexts.It is based on the premise that truthful statements exhibit certain consistent patterns and norms.
    The formal science of Statement Analysis began to take shape shortly after World War II, as structured techniques were developed to examine language usage.

    Advanced Statement Analysis builds on the skills acquired in Basic Statement Analysis, provides further technical skills and explores in greater depth the behaviour of lying as well as looking at nonverbal communication

    Students who have completed the four modules for the Comprehensive Certificate in Handwriting Analysis for Personality Profiling, are required to complete an internship to prove that they are competent to conduct a professional handwriting analysis.

    Fundamentals of Handwriting Analysis is the first module of a series of 4 modules in handwriting analysis using the Gestalt approach and will introduce you to basic technical aspects of handwriting analysis, including, baseline, margins, spacing, pressure, size, slant, diacritics (‘t’s’ & ‘i’s), capitals, signature, connections, connectedness, zones.

    This module does not qualify you to practise as a professional handwriting analyst.

    Advanced Handwriting Analysis is the second of 4 modules to qualify as a professional handwriting analyst. It builds on the basic handwriting analysis skills acquired in Fundamental Handwriting Analysis and adds further more advanced technical skills.

    In this, the third of a series of four modules, handwriting analysis is used to determine a variety of physical and psychological aspects of the personality.

    Applied Handwriting Analysis the 4th module takes the student through the various applications for Handwriting Analysis for Personality Profiling, including, Recruitment & Selection, Career coaching, child guidance, Business & Personal Relationship Compatibility and Whole Personality Assessment
    Introduction to Handwriting Analysis is not meant to replace professional handwriting analysis, which provides comprehensive reports required by selection processes etc.   Introduction to Handwriting Analysis serves only to provide an indication of what is involved in an analysis of handwriting.
    The course provides a basic understanding of personality and character for the handwriting analyst. The course is uniquely developed for handwriting analysts who do not have psychology training. The course illustrates psychological principles and theories with samples of handwriting.
    When a graphologist analyses a handwriting specimen, s/he is faced with a picture of the psychology of the writer at the time of writing the specimen, i.e. what the writer has become; how s/he behaves at PRESENT; this being the EFFECT of life experiences.
    The workshop explores the graphological features which indicate various types of intelligences.
    This 5 hour workshop examines the correlation between drawings of trees, doodles and handwriting to reveal personality traits.
    Increasingly, graphologists are faced with printed specimens of writing. The workshop explores various forms of printed writing and the approach to an analysis thereof
    Each feature revealed in a handwriting is only a clue and should never be regarded in isolation. A disciplined professional graphologist will never jump to conclusions but rather balance and counterbalance features until an integrated picture develops. The Clustering Refresher course provides a system which aids the graphologist in ensuring an integrated approach and is a must for any serious and responsible graphologist.
    The workshop explores the methodology of establishing the compatibility between individuals in a business relationships and uncovers possible complementary characteristics and potential conflict areas. It deals with intellect, social, leadership and integrity.
    Stress has become pandemic in modern living and often manifests itself in a variety of ways in the individual. This workshop deals with the indicators and degree of stress in handwriting.

    There are degrees and types of dishonesty and circumstances play a significant role in its manifestation. The workshop covers the main forms and degrees of dishonesty from unintentional dishonesty to deliberate forms of dishonesty; handwriting features suggesting dishonesty and the psychological interpretation of the handwriting features.
